
The Front Range Airport Authority is a political subdivision of the State of Colorado with the unique distinction of operating like a business. The Authority adheres to a policy of "Employment At-Will" and uses an enterprise fund to account for its operations, in a manner similar to private business enterprises. The cost of providing goods and services to the aviation community on a continuing basis is financed and recovered primarily through user charges.
